If Hibs win their last 2 games, we are guaranteed at least 2nd place and on 10 points. 4 of the groups, it is not possible for the 2nd place team to get 10, so we will be into the last 16. Does anybody know if the 4 2nd place qualifiers are seeded against the 4 Euro teams??

I don't remember that being the case last year when we were one of the Euro teams, but I wouldn't expect us to be one of the seeds this time round after last night.
Unless Ross County stumble of course!

I think we will be unseeded if we finish second.

I think the 4 Euro teams and the 4 best group winners are seeded with the other 8 unseeded

I meant would the 4 2nd place teams be drawn against the 4 Euro teams---but anyway, found this:
"The seeded teams in the last 16 are the four European clubs and the four group winners with the highest points totals."

I'd love a home tie against Hearts or Rangers on 8/9 August.

No they wouldn't. It's a random draw and any of the 8 seeds can play any of the 8 non seeds.
Last night's result pretty much confirms that we'll finish 2nd and therefore won't be seeded if we do qualify for the next round.
Just need to hope it's a kind draw.

Livvi, Ayr and Falkirk could win their groups

This might sound like a daft question but are the seeded sides guaranteed a home tie? Is that part of the seeding process removing some of the random nature?

No they're not guaranteed a home tie.
Ta. Interesting to see the process then for 8 straight ties. Wonder if it might be televised.

I'm sure at least one will
Ties due to be played 8/9 August. If Aberdeen and Celtic are still in Europe, perfect time to get one of them at home
