They have been playing pretty well thus far. However they are playing a team that were almost relegated from the championship last season and have lost their best player in Stevie Mallan to Barnsley.

Thistle have been good but St Mirren have been poor. The Thistle team isn't much changed from last season which shows given they were 6th. We must be 100% ready for them and I assume we will.

From what I've seen, Partick look very sharp. They press almost immediately and have played some nice stuff.

Interesting 1st game of the season we'll have. Could have had an easier one but hopefully their style will play in to our hands and we'll pick them off.

Ross County beat Montrose 6-0 last week and we did alright last night against them so I think that just tells you how bad Montrose are as opposed to how good Arbroath are.

I would expect us to win by at least 3 goals on Tuesday.
