Agreed - We were in Crete one year and the barman at the apartments-bar was early 20's, blonde-hair, blue-eyes, and a mouth of pearly-white even-teeth and a smash-hit with all the girls there. He flew over to Athens for a game (I cannot remember which game but it was a UEFA-Cup game) - we didn't see him for 4-5 days and even the management didn't know where he was. When he eventually returned, gone were the long, flowing locks of blonde-hair, you could (barely) see one of his blue-eyes due to the mess his face was in, and his 'Dazzling-smile' was gone due to his mouth missing some teeth !

He told us he'd got caught-up in a running-battle with both sets of fans and although he wasn't involved, the police just collared everyone in the vicinity. Spent 3/4 nights in jail (no bail), they shaved his head, he got a daily doing (they all did) and the reason he was late back was he had to wait until he could contact his family in Crete to send him money because the police took everyone's wallets, watches, gold-chains etc, etc.
