The boys 23, Only played 31 games and is about to go to Hull from Liverpool for £8 million pounds. How much does that make SJM worth?

He is only worth what someone will pay for him so i would imagine £2 - £2.5 million despite inflated fees for players down south.

Not £8m anyway. If we got £2.5m for him we would have done great, can see him going for £2m.

Which is why sell on clauses are so valuable to Hibs.

Which is why sell on clauses are so valuable to Hibs. Not even just Hibs but anyone in Scotland now, even Celtic. Look at the reported fee for Van Dijk and even if it's 10% of £60m it's probably more than what they'll sell anyone for this summer. Steven Fletcher must have netted us a fair wee bit as well when he moved from Burnley. I hope we have similar in Jasons transfer because the money being thrown around the championship for goalscorers now is terrifying.

Doesn't have any effect on John McGinn at all.

Dundee United could receive an £800,000 windfall if/when Andrew Robertson's £8 million move to Liverpool is completed.

Not a bad bit of business.

Wonder if Jackie Mac Jnr will be on a slice of the sell on?
