Because of who he played for?

Big part of mogga's team and a big part of 21 may so he's alright with me 🖒

I suppose it's a step back to civilisation & decency but he'll forever have their stain on his CV, along with his moral-character !

Good move for him

Really think that the championship title race will be a cracker this season. ICT/Dun Utd/St Mirren/Falkirk and Dunfermline will all have genuine belief they can win it. That's half the league

I remember him rolling around as if he'd been shot when we played Sevco at Easter road. Left a horrible taste in my mouth as he was one of my favourite Hibs players. But I have too many good memories of him that I'd find it very difficult not to want to see him do well at pars.

Because he felt the need to dive and cheat against Hibs thus playing up to the Huns. Zero respect.

I used to love him but **** him

Used to love the guy but when he went to The Rangers that changed. Couldn't really care about him now. I do however think he will be a decent signing for the Pars.

Morton as well if they can build on what they did last season

The race for the three playoff spots will be interesting with lots of teams in the mix. I just think Dundee Utd will win the league comfortably this season.

He was very good for us at times but was an animal when at sevco. Didn't show any ambition signing for them in the 3rd division either. His dad seems to like us.

Always like Dean, hope it's a good move for him.

I liked him at Hibs, but it really wasn't great to see him writhing on the Easter Road deck in his Sevco shirt like he'd been shot.

The Pars are a good club, hopefully he manages some form of redemption there.

As has been said above, that is set to be a brilliant league this season. I don't know if it's been our trip down there but I am genuinely interested to see how it plays out, whereas when we were in the Championship I couldn't have cared less about what was going on in the Premier League and know little about the players who are now playing in it.

did he not make a complaint to the police about being shoved during the pitch invasion after the cup final ?

Just looked it up and there was a guy who was taken to court for "acting in an aggressive manor" towards Dean Shiels at the cup final. If Shiels didn't make them complaint then who did ?

surely as the victim if he hadn't wanted to press charges, he didn't have to ? The guy (who is no doubt a total idiot) actually only verbally abused him.

his dad, like other rangers players and their families, came out afterwards and said that Dean had not been "attacked". Bit of a pisser for Keith Jacksons "all 11 rangers players attacked" story! Nightmare when facts get in the way of a good story eh!

In case you're missing the subtlety in the other persons post it was polis Scotland that took it to court.
And dean shield gave a statement that he was not attacked.
