Looked decent. Kind of reminds me a bit of Forster in terms of build and stature. Lot of developing to do before he's first team ready IMO but he looks very promising indeed.

At the moment we're spoilt for choice in the defence department so he's a wee bit down the list for a starting place but i'd like to see him getting a shot in games like Montrose yesterday for example. Give some of the starters a bit of a rest and allow Porteous to get some first team experience. A good "problem" to have really, having lots of competition for starting places, means hopefully nobody can can become complacent and we aren't heavily reliant on 1 or 2 indivduals.


Really exciting times with the youth we're bringing through. Shaw looks a cracking wee goalscorer and was really impressed with Porteous and Fraser Murray yesterday.

Efe didn't time his period of going awol very well tbh. Ryan has really impressed me and has earned the chance to keep his spot imo. Especially if we got 3-5-2

He was my motm thought Fraser Murray went off the boil a bit in the 2nd half.

I know it's Montrose but one every challenge in the air that I recall, positioning was good and looked very confident on the ball.
