Guessing seeing as we're to play our first competitive game on Saturday that the squad numbers will be coming out soon. If some numbers are left free then should hopefully be an indicator of where we intend to strengthen.

Hearts announced there's today.
They don't have a No.1 which would suggest they will be bringing in a goalkeeper before the season starts.

So based on yesterday we've left #3, #8, #9 and #14 free (out of the important numbers). Suggests we're after 1/2 midfielders and 1/2 strikers. #3 will probably only be taken by Henderson and will otherwise be left blank.

I'd imagine Whitty will take 3. I seen a signed new black away top being auctioned on Facebook yesterday that had been signed by the squad after the game. Someone had signed it and put a number 8 after their name. Couldn't for the life of me work out who's name it was though.

Is Whittaker #3 inside info or presumption? I thought Stevenson's "unofficially" our #3 but he prefers #16, hence no other defenders being assigned to it.
