From the dirty rag, but:

"Hibs pip their Edinburgh rivals by 27 places in 263rd and ahead of them are Motherwell in 243rd, St Johnstone in 211th and Aberdeen in 191st although the Dons will have the opportunity to increase their standing with upcoming Europa League ties against Siroki Brijeg – who sit in 319th.

Results are based on points gained by clubs that have competed in the Champions League and Europa League over the past five seasons.":na na::flag:

Where did Rangers manage to amass any points in the last 5 seasons??????

They were toiling to get anywhere in the Petrofac Cup!!!!!

Even if they did manage some points this season over two games, i'd be surprised if it took them up to that position as a newco, they would start at zero and all previous points would disappear????

I suppose the answer may lay with how many teams overall have competed in Europe in the last 5 years. Not sure where you could find out though. Can't imagine there are many more than 300 odds,so they must be near the bottom the pile.😂

He got it from here (http://www.uefa.com/memberassociations/uefarankings/club/), the UEFA site.

Not sure what the ECA Europe website is, never heard of it.

Your numbers are outdated

Dated 3rd June 2017.

Who have they all played in the last month to change the ranking?

As I recall only Rangers and St Johnstone have played since in Europe, that would change their points tally.

The ranking takes into account he last 5 seasons. Your list is still including the 12/13 season despite the fact that 17/18 has already begun (in Europe at least)

The Sun article specifically states that Celtic have dropped from 48th (where they are on your list) to 64th in the rankings suggesting those ratings are more up to date.

Its also not talking about the points tally, its just the ranking meaning other clubs who have been playing european games and gaining more points will have moved around causing scottish teams positions to change as well.
