I thought he was very promising tonight. Looked calm on the ball and had a bit of pace for a CB. Big unit aswell. Could be a good back up along with fonts next season.

Thought he was great today, really good on the ball for an 18 year old centre half. A 3-6 month loan playing at a half decent level should bring him on leaps and bounds.

He was probably the young player that impressed me most today. Good in the air, strong in the tackle and is surprisingly good on the ball. This was the first time I've seen him and I was surprised by his physique. He's not the usual type of player we seem to produce that seems to lack height and build.

A season on loan getting lots of game time will do him the world of good but if he keeps progressing then he has to move into our first team when he gets back. That will mean moving aside fans favourites.

Hard to judge too much from pre season games but looked like a guy with years of experience.

Given the level of opposition he did really well but given our options at centre half he's best getting some games on loan.

Ryan is a galleous sort of player, and hates a tackle😄
Needs to learn to stay on his feet a bit more, but I'm sure the club are working on all his areas
He's got a bright future at Hibs, and he only turned 18 in March

Wondered how he's get on against some big, strong and quick Sunderland players, but he looked very assured and certainly not a young laddie just beginning his career. Had some terrific passes out of defence as well, getting us on the front foot quickly.

My uncles brother played with him last year at Edinburgh city says he is going to be different class said he's good on the ball and strong for a young lad says once he gets experience he is going to be the real deal exciting prospect indeed and if he's a hibby even better

First time I saw him and really impressed. Seemed fearless and able to use his size as well as being a good footballer who seemed to have an eye for a pass. Exciting and makes me feel better for Forster having moved on.

A lot will depend on the Ambrose/Hanlon situation, I would have thought.
Think Lennon gets on well with Aitken at Dumbarton, and thinks he's a good manager for our young players
