If Berry is all that he sounds like, and Dylan is fit for all/most of the season, i think that team would easily be top 6 and would compete with top 4. Without any wingers at the moment, other than Boyle, we are going to look a bit like this i think, or with the 442 diamond midfield.

Besides - if we managed to keep our squad essentially together aside from swapping cummings for stokes and adding swanson, berry and whittaker, what is there to complain about? It's still a very good team IMO

We will finish top 6 this season and next summers transfer window will be easier to get players in as a reestablished top Premiership team looking to make the next step.

I agree he should start but it's not exactly baffling when we have two other excellent CBs. I'd argue that Hanlon was better than McGregor last season until his injury and obviously Ambrose is a quality player

McGregor is the best at defending out of all of them. I'd pair Efe with him if we play a back 4 with Hanlon included if we play 3 CBs
