I wonder if any former Airdrie players will come forward and apologise for calling Airdie Utd a new club after Airdrieonians were liquidated.

Looks that way. Don't think he would be welcomed back though. They see it his as a r(h)at (they seem to like to add an 'h' to link to sellik) leaving a sinking ship I stead of the family and footballing reasons he's given.
