On a Hibs kids day there are 11 mascots and 2 on a normal match day.

Why? I think it's great value, £60 cover the tickets so £39/£59 for the experience. More than happy to pay that if my son is up for it.

One Hibs Twitter account has "slammed" the Club about this. It's really not that bad. Folk will always find something to moan about I guess.

I read somewhere that Hearts are charging £300 for the same privilege.

Not sure what the fuss is about as prices don't seem to be that horrendous given what's included in the package. It's a memory of a great day that the mascot and their family will have forever.

I accept that not everyone would be able to shell out the money though so some element of names drawn from Hibs Kids' hat sounds ideal. Maybe that already happens for Hibs Kids day mascots?

That's great.
Back in the day I'm sure they drew the names out at half time.

The guy on twitter (Hibs News) saying it should be free. To be fair tae the Hibees on Twitter the majority of responses are in favour of Hibs charging for this experience

It seems reasonable priced to me as you get 3 match tickets with it

If they still offer Hibs Kids a chance to do it via a lottery then fair enough charging for it aswell. If they only offer this opportunity to the richest kids/parents then its a bit of a pisstake for a "community club".

I think it's more than reasonable, in fact my old man was talking about getting the package for my wee brother.

I'm not sure why there is a surprise this year, HIbs have done this for a number of years now dating back tot he season/season before we were relegated & prices are now cheaper than they were back then.

The year we were relegated it was £99 for cat b & £149 for cat a games. Think it then went down to £80 last season since we had no cat a games.

My wee boy will be 5 next May so I'll definitely be getting him a derby mascot package for next season.

It's a great deal. 2 adults match tickets plus one for the mascot and a programme with their names / photo. Plus the mascot gets a mini tour and onto the pitch.

My two boys have done it. One via hibs kids draw and other via a raffle donation from hibs but if I'd had to pay either time it would have been easily value for money

What if you've already got season tickets? No discounts.

There is a healthy number in the Hibs kids.Shouldnt they be picking the future fans of the club to be mascot in a draw for match days instead of charging the fans.

There is still the option of kids getting drawn out of hat I believe.

This package is for those who don't want to chance their luck in the draw.

Yes that still happens. 2 kids on a match day are selected and 11 on Hibs Kids days
