I seen the clip yesterday but didn't realise the establishment he walked in to (I thought it was a bookies initially) was the Purple Turtle. I visited this establishment in Reading about 20 years ago. Really weird place, I remember there being (what seemed to me) a few snooty southerners in the place, but through the back they had MD-2020 on draught then upstairs there was a reasonably well known music artist (JK) coming out the gents after powdering his nose.
After my initial misplaced social observations it was actually a decent night out!
