So much debate about who we might, could or can get in ...with I reckon more surprises coming in from NL's wanted list than there are from names being touted by us fans !
The real issue is what do we still to sign positionally ?
My thoughts are ;

Keeper
Right and a left sided wing backs preferably ..
natural central midfielder(replace Fyvie),
attacking midfielder,
Left sided winger
2 ..natural centre.forwards
So 8 on that count back ..but I seriously think we need 7 in still and if McGinn goes we have real midfield problem ...
Thoughts folks !!!

At the moment we need around 5 players.

A goalkeeper, two strikers, a midfielder and a wide player.

If McGinn goes then we'll need two midfielders.

It depends how Lennon wants to play. If he wants to play wingers then I reckon we're still about 6 short.

If not, we still need at least 4.

Keeper
Two midfielders
Three forwards

It's a squad game and we only have Simon Murray as a forward so can't be bringing in less than three up front.

Strikers required: 2
Murray
Shaw
?
?

Midfielders required:
Left sided
2 centre mids (3 if we lose mcginn)

I'd say 5/6 new players required of good quality to have any hopes of top 4.

Forgetting Graham up front and we also do play Boyle there based on last season's evidence.
I would say we do need another 2 strikers mind - probably a bigger target man plus a main goalscorer.
We also have Handling - not quite sure where he fits - still listed as a forward but more of a midfielder these days.

A keeper .... hopefully Rocky

Cover ( hopefully a challenge ) for right and left back .... I cant believe after all these years we still don't at least have cover for Lewis, we have gone season after season getting away with it only because the guy is never injured ... whatever he does to stay fit every player should copy him, he's bloody Iron Man.

Two decent midfielders who can see a pass and more importantly actually play it and at least one of whom is as energetic as McGinn ... three if we do lose McGinn ..... Having said that, I've watched Scott Martin a few times now and I'm pretty sure he has what it takes to make a breakthrough and contest for a starting slot.

Two strikers ...... I'm not in a panic just now, but with every day that passes that situation will become more and more of a concern, there is no way we can start the season with one proven striker who even then has yet to make a mark in the top flight ..... It could be that we might have to spend some money.

For my bonus round I choose a left winger :greengrin

Do we, I thought he had left the club? I stand to be corrected though.

He and Stanton still have time on their contracts, I don't think Hibs will stand in their way if they get another cub.
