Has been diagnosed with Motor neurone disease at the age of 46. How really sad that a fit and relatively young guy like Doddie has been struck down with this dreadful disease.

Wishing him well in the struggles ahead.

Really nice guy. Used to drink in ny old work and always had time for a blether.

Saw him a few weeks ago on the train to Gala and had a quick chat and he seemed in great spirits. Really sad news.

Just posted on the other thread on the Holy Ground. This is incredibly sad news, I wish him all the best in the remaining time that he has left.

I wouldn't wish this dreadful illness on anyone.
