Rangers opened with too big a bid IMHO.

Definitely. They will take about £300k towards the end of the window. They can't afford him to leave for nothing.

That only matters if they intend to pay. They can now say they tried but hertz wanted too much.

Towards the end of the under construction big window

He's not even worth half a million. I hope he stays at Hearts, he's a bottle merchant and his head is the first to go down when Hearts concede.

Rangers offered £500k, but it's probably broken up in to ridiculous installments or similar, Hearts should try and take them for as much up front as possible.

Now there's a sentence I never thought I'd read.

The world really has gone mad.

I agree. I very much doubt they're offering that much up front.

The caveat is that it's Hearts, so any bid would be too big.

Its disgusting to see.....Normal service has resumed!

Now its the medias turn to upset the player.

I wish they had just died and stayed dead.

On a side note, how are Rangers 'splashing the cash' all of a sudden.....?

That is the question.

With their turnover it shouldn't be a problem.

They havn't really. They paid £1.26m for a player and offered half million for Walker. They've sold over 40,000 season tickets i'm led to believe...

It will take a long time to pay a million at a fiver a week!

Given their past shenanigans this £1.26m will be over instalments and add ons a Scottish or English club with a better knowledge of sevco would laugh at. Indeed the yams have otherwise they'd have bitten their arm off to pay towards their shell of a stand.

Same.

I'll be honest, I'd rather he went down south. Don't want any player from any club heading along the M8. Particularly young Scottish players

They are (somehow) getting "close to £1M" for Joey Garner from Ipswich.

Rangers seemingly had a second bid of £600k turned down

If he signs for the Ibrox club, they will get more penalty kicks than ever.

Imagine the roars of 45,000+ at Ibrox claiming for penalties and free kicks around the box as Walker throws himself theatrically to the ground.

Hearts probably settle for 750k. The 500k bid was last week or at least the figure had been bandied about last week by them to Hearts.

It's not the crowd that's the problem, it's the their fans on the park with the flags & a whistle.

But aren't they also losing around £1 million per month?

There's nothing in the public domain to confirm or deny that.

IMO, they're doing their usual French cricket. Making the most of the ST money, and hoping to make more money out of their European adventure as the season progresses. Like what Craig Whyte did....

It's Gironomics as was. Get the giro Thursday, splurge it away by the end of the weekend, spend the next 10 days borrowing money and eating beans on toast. Repeat
