And so, despite being drawn against two Angus clubs the wait to play a competitive fixture there goes on..

Cant get a train back from Dingwall on the fri night after the game either 🤔

In all honesty, that is a pish set of fixtures. Friday night away game against a team we're already playing this season, and our other away game is at a ground we've played at five times in the last three seasons.

If we'd been drawn away to Arbroath or Montrose it'd be our first competitive fixture at either of those grounds since the 70s, and our first competitive tie in Angus since 1996.

While I'm not a fan of the new format as it's more games than necessary against poor teams and at some pish poor grounds, I'm happy enough that I'm going to be able to get to Lewis' testimonial and the montrose game as well as missing out on Ulster's sectarian hatefest that week.

Miss the first game as I'm on holiday. Second game is on BT Sport so this part-timer will be in a Leith pub. I'd hoped for Arbroath away as I've never been but we get Alloa which we've visited frequently recently and is a crap pitch and ground. Not exactly inspiring.

Friday, brilliant.
bound to make it easier for the majority of supporters to attend, I like their thinking.

Love Friday night games and really fancied a wee trip north. :top marks

Absolutely gutted about the Ross County game. I was quite looking forward to the prospect of a wee summer trip up there and staying overnight however the SPFL, the two clubs and BT Sport have put an end to that!

Thinking about the fans as always. :aok:

disappointed to get home draws for Arbroath and Montrose would have attended both now probably won't. Added to a boring pre season we have planned

Just been looking into that but accommodation is quite steep.

I've just booked a 4 bed dorm for four of us that worked out at only £18.00pppn. In saying that it's Inverness as opposed to Dingwall but there is a train back to inverness leaving at 11.00pm.

Thanks for the tip. Will look into that.
