At least we avoided the group of death.

From Angus and live in Forth Valley so this draw is pretty much perfect - would be even better if we got an away tie v Arbroath.

Arbroath and Montrose away :hyper

Assuming we get two away and two home and one of the away teams will be Ross County as they were top seeds I don't think we will be going to both places.

The novelty of this will wear off.

At least TV games can be shown on a Saturday at 3pm though.

Rigged draw.

Hibs are in the only group with two Premiership teams.

Group A doesn't have one Premiership team!

There are eight groups and eight Premiership teams involved. What's so difficult about sorting that out?

To say the draw was rigged in that manner implies that somebody deliberately manipulated it to make life difficult for Hibs.

I believe the divine leaders at Hampden are incompetent, but that's verging on paranoia.

There is something far wrong if we are greetin about getting that group. If we take this tournament seriously we should be looking at maximum points.

When are the TV execs going to get round to telling us when we're playing?

But the seedings were organised after promotion and relegation were sorted out.

#feeble excuse SPFL

The terms piss-up, Brewery and organise come to mind.

The SPFL were quick enough to insist on Hibs coming into the League Cup in Round 1 after relegation.

No, they weren't. We went into the 2nd round like we always did, unless we were in Europe.

Why wouldn't we be ranked on last years performance? We finished 13th in Scotland, and are ranked accordingly.
