Thanks to those who took part in an earlier version of some university research I am involved in that is looking at how we conduct our everyday relationships through smartphones, computers, tablets and other electronic devices. I have now moved on to a second phase of questions and I hope you can spare a few minutes to share your important views.

Thanks in advance.

Done. Speedy did it quicker than I did.

I was saying to my wife the other day when we saw a bus load of kids all glued to their phones that social media must be hard work for teenagers. There's enough insecurities at that age as it is without worrying about how many online mates you have and who can see certain pictures etc.

I'm in my late 30s now and this website is the closest I get to social media after closing my (rarely used) Facebook account a few years back. Glad my generation missed it all.

Many thanks Holmesdale Hibs, Speedy and anyone else who has completed the survey. It is still live if anyone has a spare few minutes.
