Slow day at work, but the pelters he is taking over on Aberdeen forums makes funny reading!

His return to Pittodrie is going to be very interesting. Strange choice of move by him.

Think he is a hun and also will get way bigger wages with them so fair enough

10K a week being reported.....might open the door for Fyvie going back up there

10k a week!? Sevco are mad.

He is a decent enough player but no chance he is worth 10 grand a week.

Money talks in football. A 3 year deal for £1.5m with the potential for another bumper contract. As we will see with JC & SJM. They will move on to bigger clubs and wages

More money but otherwise a step down for the boy. Shows he has little ambition, or confidence in his own ability to step up a level.

Let's be serious money aside this move is a drop for him and if rangers are serious about challenging Celtic this season this isn't the type of signing I think Rodgers will have any worries about. As said above, I wouldn't be excited if he signed for us.

I don't think it's a step down. Sideways maybe. He'll win as many medals at Ibrox as he did at Pittodrie...none.

He did win a league cup medal at Celtic park though.

The Hun mentality (as small and damaged as it is) is that if a player is paid large amounts of money, that amount is automatically reflected by his standard of play on the field !

the fans also think singing songs about killing fenians/kaffliks and that being up to their knees in blood can also spur players on to better performances, any fenian players get an extra urge to improve performance levels

He's a good player and will improve the Rangers. Not that difficult to improve their midfield of course. If true 10K a week is crazy money.

Good player but the Huns are just buying second place. That won't suit their bigot fan base and they'll get nowhere near Celtic with the likes of Jack.

I think they could be in for a rude awakening if they think a 35 year old centre back and Ryan Jack are going to get them second.

I'd never even heard of the guy until he got stripped of the captaincy a few weeks ago, shows how much attention I pay to anyone who isn't us

Shinnie and McLean are better IMO.
They've started calling him Ryan 'Union' Jack .... oh dear

The hun could probably have got him for 5k a week. They never learn.

Agree 100%
They may get the league gap back to 20 points next season and have a wee chance in the cups but nothing more.
Their thicker fans won't be happy.

I'm sure they will pay around that amount rather than the now gospel 10k a week that everyone is swallow swallowing.
Hunz will be happy with that nonsense being peddled as it makes out they are splashing the cash. Like the massively inflated fee for Garner that included his wage.

I wonder is it the same guy that started Riordan's 30k a week in China.

He's better than Holt and Halliday but won't transform their midfield on his own. A decent defensive midfielder but that's all.

They really are a disturbing bunch. They will have a rude awakening when Union Jack finishes behind his old team and us and Pedro is emptied after more embarrassing defeats by Celtic. #goingfor55points

Exactly, this is what I never understand.

I'm sure it was Jon Daly that said he expected and would've signed a deal on about 600 quid a week given his injury history etc and they offered him 6 grand a week 😂😂😂😂

6 grand a week to that chocolate-kneed auld tugboat 😂
