Surprised when it was announced that he was on a 4 year contract.

He was never really a manager in the first place, just an experienced player thrown in to it so save some cash.

I expect Canning to be next for the same reason. Doubt either will manage again.

Couldn't you say that about any manager who takes the job from being a player ??

Think you are under estimating the support Canning has in the Hamilton board....can't see him going anywhere soon...

Canning has done very well with very little.
That's him managed Hamilton to safety 3 times now.

They would sink like a stone without Canning.

I think Dundee are looking to appoint the St Mirren manager.

Doubt it, expect Canning to be there at the start of the season, unless he doesn't want to be.

Jack Ross?

He would be better staying where he is. Unless things change massively, Dundee are going nowhere

If Dundee go nowhere they are in a better position than St Mirren!

They've been in great form of course but I think it will be tough for St Mirren to go up.

Ross could take the jump and could feel he might improve Dundee.

Yeah get your point, just think that getting Saints up, will put Jack in a better light, than treading water at Dundee

Jack Ross is the bookies fav at 3/1 to go to Dundee. Stubbsy at 4/1 and Houston at 6/1.

Butcher and Malpas back to ICT?

Malpas is/was already there. He was Foran's assistant for the last couple of months. There's talk of Malpas being moved into a Director of Football / General Manager role.
