Dan Walker on Ken Bruce BBC Radio2 played "Sunshine on Leith" as one of his choices, mentioned the singing of it at last years cup final....quality

Absolutely brilliant, talking about him and our gaffer singing at a Karaoke in the wee sma' ours in France at the Euros because Neil chose the tune since he was the Hibs manager!

I think we've got a manager who loves our club...

Spoke of us singing it on the pitch and putting hairs up on the back of his neck. No mention of violence, whats his agenda!!

Story about NL singing it karoake with him in Paris is interesting as it was obviously before taking charge

Don't think that's right. He took the Hibs job on 8th June. Euro 2016 started on 10th June.

Irony of Ironies - Ken Bruce, who is great to listen to, is a Hun supporter. I'll have to listen to this on catchup.

Little bit pedantic? He maybe had the job but hadnt taken charge till after the Euros.
My point was that his involvement at Hibs had been minimal but he obviously had some kind of connection to us

Always nice to hear of random people like this talk so positively about Hibs fans and of course the now Hibs manager. Decent wee listen.

It's getting to the point where I find the proclaimers version a bit lame compared to the crowd version. The brothers were on a radio prog about football chants recently saying that the song was the community's now and not theirs.

Some songs do 'outgrow' their composer.
"You'll Never Walk Alone" has done that, but probably only in relation to the world of football.
I've heard Karine Polwart say that her song "Follow The Heron" has a life of it's own now.
By that she meant it was no longer just her song, but everybody's.

Exactly, a life of their own
