No set of fans anywhere will ever get the feeling we did on that afternoon, I'm firmly convinced of that .... it was something truly truly special and unless you are a Hibby you will just never get it ...... you can go 'yeh man, but the day I saw my team win the cup was just as special' ..... no it wasn't ... there was just something DIFFERENT about what happened that day ...... never, and I mean never, has a winning goal at Hampden been celebrated like David Gray's was .... ever.

As for the day after .................... just mental

Can safely say it won't be beaten in my lifetime, and I'm fine with that. I don't want it to be beaten.

An absolutely perfect day.

Anyone know the exact time the ref blew the whistle, I'd love to savour that exact second , might even give it a 10 second countdown.

Checked on my SKY recording and a quick calculation makes it 4:51. Got an alert set on my phone for that time today

Cried that day and I'm sitting here with a lump in my throat now. Never ever experienced emotions like that. When I became a dad it was different but that day was just carlesberg 114 years of days rolled into one.

Was sitting amongst mixed company last night and birthdays came up in conversation.. I brought up "our first birthday " was today and had to explain what I meant ...

Have to confess I found it very emotional trying to explain the significance of the day and the pure and utter joy Hibernian Football club brought my family...

I've been lucky enough to get my pic taken with the Holy Grail many times but the photograph of me aged 12 and my Pup, the man responsible for me being the 56 year old Hibee I am today, and the picture I held aloft when SDG hoisted the trophy, resting against the trophy 🏆 hold pride of place.

The looks I was getting as tears rolled down my cheeks last nights were from people who just don't get it and what it really means to us who do.

Enjoy the day my Hibs family .. I will be wearing the same Hibs top I wore to the final again today and no doubt will wake up tomorrow morning with it covered in tear and alcohol stains.

Will it ever get old ? Never!!!
Will I ever stop crying watching it ? Never !!!
Will I ever stop loving the Cabbage? NEVER !!!

Best weekend of my life. I'm sure we will win trophies again in my lifetime but nothing will top the absolute euphoria of that moment and all that followed for the rest of the weekend.

Happy birthday to everyone.

It'll never get better than that, from the crushing relegation to always thinking I'd never see it since generations of my family lived and died without seeing it.

One of the best weekends ever and I'll never forget it as long as I live.

I took my son to the 2013 final when he was 2 and still in nappies in the hope of us witnessing hibs finally winning that cup. It wasn't the easiest day out I've ever enjoyed. I'm so glad that the things he's witnessed following hibs since then didn't put him off and he was sat next to me a year ago to witness such a special cup win.

What a day. As others have said it felt different from the start. From the low key build up to the time for heroes banner to Stokes ripping them open in the 3rd minute. Even at 2 1 down I don't think many if any had given up hope and finally, finally we got the outcome the team and the fans deserved. Just brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.

A year ago this time (11:25) we were on the bus heading through to glasgow, totally oblivious to what we were about to experience.

Happy "ramyer1902" day fellow Hibees. Was saying to my Hibee mate last night no matter how many times we win the cup again (and I hope it's multiple occasions) nothing will eclipse that feeling at 1651 on 210516...I feel honoured and privileged to have been there to witness what so many of my elder Hibees never got to see.
