Did anyone else watch this doc on channel 4? Feel it deserves a thread.
I thought it was brilliant, very well done, very thought provoking and quite moving and harrowing at times.
Not an easy subject to look at (fairly) dispassionately, thought Tom Holland did a great job.
His pointed conclusion about the French Revolution and isis sharing similar violence, and possibly motives was a real thinker...
