Spoke to him in January but it was more about emergency cover then. Impression I got was he was an alternative to Ambrose when we required short term cover as opposed to something for this summer.

That seemed to start from the beginning and no mention of Fontaine unless he said something in the main programme afterwards.

I was told last week that Boyle had already signed around the same time as the others, I wonder if his drink driving put that on hold.

I heard it too, it was on the Scottish Football Extra show before the actual game coverage started. Two year deal signed.

I can confirm that Fontaine wasn't discussed at all during the Arsenal match on Sky.

That video is from their Facebook live session which they do before going on air. That wasn't actually part of the programme I don't think. Lennon said "with Fontaine signing up" just after show began at 7pm.

I also watched BT sports last night and Lennon defo said Fontaine had signed. it wasn't long into the show when he said it and I texted a couple of mates to tell them what Lennon said. I've checked my phone and my texts were sent at 7:07pm so probably shortly after 7pm when he mentioned it.

Now the news appears to be out, I don't understand why there isn't any official announcement from the club.
