Colin Cameron's consolation in the 6-2 game still frustrates the life out me.

What are the most annoying goals you have seen Hibs concede over the years?

Anything last season in the lead up to us winning the cup I'm totally fine with as I'm of the opinion if we had of won the league cup or got through in the play-off our attitude/confidence/preparation/mindset may have been different in the final

Wayne Foster goal, a Yam mate tagged me in at FB post earlier today (22 years ago today) - he should have been nailed before he even touched the ball, shocking defending.

So many but the first to mind are:

Wayne Foster - should have been halved
Hamilton equaliser - felt inevitable but avoidable. There were so many opportunities to avoid relegation though, Butcher is by far the worst thing to happen to the club in my years as a supporter.

I also remember a late Motherwell equaliser the year we were relegated before McLeish brought us back up. At the time it felt like we might just avoid relegation but that game sealed it for me.

This one as a 12 year old who was in the cowshed behind the goals. Think I even cried on the way home. :greengrin The Leeds Utd goal came from a free kick which was awarded to them due to the four step rule.

Date: Wednesday, 10th January 1968.
Venue: Easter Road, Leith, Edinburgh, Scotland.
Competition: Inter-Cities Fairs Third Round, Second Leg.
Score: Hibernian 1 Leeds United 1
Scorers: Hibernian: Stein. Leeds United: Charlton.
Attendance: 40,503.

Fosters goal definitely .... there was only going to be one winner in that game until his breakaway goal, he should have been booted into the stand before he got near our box.

There's been a few others but Ross County's winner in the LC final is definitely right up there .... its a game we should have won given how we played, on the assumption that we would still have won the Scottish cup how good would it have been to hold both trophies at the same time.

That was against Aberdeen.

There was a terrible goal conceded on half time against hearts, long punt up the park Caldwell let it bounce it bounced over him and bedmate tapped it in when we had had hearts on the ropes the entire half maybe it's that your thinking about?

I know this is more about specific goals but I'd like to submit every goal over a 10 year or so period where awful, terse, boring derbies were inevitably settled with two Hearts goals in the last ten minutes; allowing them to swagger about with their big team ***** yet again. (I'm referring to post CIS-pre relegation Hibs to be clear, I imagine this has gone on multiple times through history.)

Ross County in the League cup final, why? Purely because for once we tried to go and win it, we played better than County for the entire game, they had 10 men behind the ball. Got a lucky break, and an even luckier break when Fonts put the ball right infront of the boy 2 yards out. Cruel way to lose a final!

Falkirk in the play off 2nd leg last season. All we needed to do was hold out, they got lucky with Leahys goal, he will never hit a better ball in his life again. Then once again, we buckled under the pressure, panic'd, didnt have a Holt up top to hold on to the ball, nobody stood up in midfield as a leader and we conceded again. Thankfully our resolve and mentality seem to have improved by the lorry load under Lennon.

Aberdeens first goal in the Semi. Keep it tight the first 20 mins, always the call in a big game, dont give anything away. From McGinn losing it, to Bartley winning it then laying a stupid back pass to McGregor giving Efe a short pass, comical of errors in the first 10 seconds of a semi final.

Any of the 7 Malmo scored back in 2013. After the first goal went in the team just gave up and let them ship however many they wanted to score that night. Comparing that game to the the grit and resilience shown against Brondby shows how far we have come.

Beaumont joined the Police and was working in front of the Hibs fans at East End Park. Once we twigged who he was the abuse rained down on him. Each to a man screamed at him "you should have brioke the bast***ds leg. Went and spoke to his boss and then moved to the home fans. The songs of abuse just followed him. Coward.

Jeez, if the majority of these goals just caused mere frustration for most rather than downright rage then their better people than me.

Most upsetting at the time was Phil Stamp and Graham Weir.

Anger was probably 6-6.

Hamilton's second was probably the most gut-wrenching.

If you're talking just pulling-your-hair out frustrating, the random winner is probably Nade's last minute equaliser for Raith two seasons back. It's the bizarre inexplicable late goals that are the worst.
