Just been told he's going to be a st. Johnstone player next season. Is this old news that I've missed?

Good luck to him if true. Was a bit odd during the celebrations on the field after the game - he seemed to go off to the side with his family and not really interact with any of the Hibs team/staff. A sign that this post is spot on, possibly.

Was posted last week. Decent big guy but we won't be missing much

Gave his all for the club but strange signing to begin with IMO.

With Keatings away we'll need at least 2 forwards in the summer, more if we lose Jason and/or Holt.

Good guy - gave his all - scored a few with limited chances.

Again good luck - hopefully doesn't score against us next year...along with Craig and Wotherspoon !!

Turned out to be a strange signing.

Got very little playing time unless Holt wasnt fit or we were being beaten with 10 mins to go!

Still, he contributed to us being promotion so good luck to the lad!

I wouldn't say it was strange as such. Neil knew who his first choice strikers were and it was obvious that Graham would be signed as back up, as a plan B or someone who would only be in the team if they really surprised everyone.

Good luck to him if he's off.

Graham popped up with a couple of goals when we needed them. Probably didn't make as much of an impact as we'd have hoped but we need players for the squad and he did a job. Good luck to him.

A right Fenlon signing, should never of happened for him or us in the first place. surprised a club like St Johnstone are on to him, unless its part of the Swanson deal? best of luck to him anyway.

Was basically just cover I think for if people were injured or so, done ok in a few games however he probably enjoyed the season he was here getting a medal also.

Squad player who played his part in promotion. Good luck to him but like Keatings he won't be overly missed and frees up space for new signings

sorry didnt realise that was a done deal

The season never really took off for Brian Graham. He flitted in and out of the side with barely a murmur and offered little beyond honesty and commitment.
I wish him well.

Quite possible we're letting him go for free if he's not part of Lennon's plans

I may be wrong but I seem to recall Jim McIntyre saying that as part of the deal to sign Graham, a fee would be paid in the event we secured promotion.

More likely to be a first team starter at St Johnstone than with us. Wish him well.

Seem to recall at the time it was a year with a second year as an option.
Not 100% certain on that mind ;)

He still has a year on his contract, so I would expect we will be receiving a fee of some sort?

If we can get shot of him without having to pay him off, it will be like winning the lottery.

2nd year was only an option for us. He will be going on a free. Its very likely that we could be down to zero first team strikers in the next few weeks! :green grin

I honestly can't see Holt accepting another year. Graham away, Keatings away, Cummings likely away....

I anticipate as many exchanges like this in the next couple of months as the amount of season tickets we sell for next season :greengrin

Hibs seem to think it was 2 years, from official site

Hibernian have completed the signing of Brian Graham on a two year deal from Ross County.

With six goals in Ross County’s three Betfred Cup ties this season the 28 year old is in good form, and will be looking to make an immediate impact under Head Coach Neil Lennon.

Graham said: “I am delighted to have joined Hibernian.

I would suspect not if he is deemed surplus to requirements, getting him off the wage bill without paying him off is probably desirable.

We must aim higher than Simon Murray if we want Europe or even second next season, he's an average SPL player.

If we get a decent offer for Cummings I hope we take it 2.5m would be good business I'd say. Suspect he sees himself moving on so would want us to go bring In players who could be with us for the next 2-3 years.

Would go with my best wishes and thanks for his contribution but I wouldn't be gutted tbh. Same with Mcginn but I'd be sadder to see him go.

To be fair to Simon Murray, his stats for this season are pretty good..

45 games, 15 goals and 10 assists.

Would be our 2nd top scorer and top assister with they stats...

Could he do it in the league above? No idea. Worth a punt? Probably.

I'll long remember the goal that Brian Graham scored in the 4-0 win against Morton. A fantastic ball in from near the left touchline by Jason Cummings was met near the penalty spot with a diving header by BG. Brilliant.

Me too, IMO that was one of the best goals we've scored this season, the build-up and finish were brilliant.

Yeah I tend to agree...don't think he contributes enough sometimes when he isn't scoring. Yes he will be big shoes to fill but not irreplaceable by any means. Delighted if he does stay but only if he wants to be here
