I saw another one a day or so ago taken from about the penalty box line on the side where the corner was taken. Think may also be Hibs Retro & IMO even better than this one. The thing that strikes me about these videos is just how many of our fellow Hibees were just overwhelmed by the moment. After the initial euphoria there's so many just standing dumbstruck or holding their head in their hands. You can almost see them/us thinking, we're going to win this thing, we're going to see what my dad/brother/mum/auntie never did. At that cathartic moment all the years of hurt & anguish were washed away & that is why no cup win ever will match those magical seconds. S**t, where's the tissue!

I'd pay good money to see a video from the rangers end

Unfortunately it's fairly unlikely that one exists of course...

How the hell does the person taking that video stay calm and pan the camera gently round ? I was going ballistic, jumping up and down like a kangaroo on hot coals and I wasn't even at the game, I was in the Hibs pub in Cheltenham !

I'm quite guilty of using my camera phone to film at the football and concerts etc. If We get a free kick or penalty etc, I normally film it. But not once did my phone go onto the camera for around 20 minutes from that winning goal. Wish I had really, but I was in a absolute mess.

:agree:

My memory after that goal was that my legs/gravity wouldn't let me jump up and down as fast as I was trying.

Aye, that's why I can not give back my Virgin tivo box, it's been rewound and played hundreds of times. And every time I'm greeting. No other teams fans can get what that meant to us.

And, agree all the stuff above - after Gray's goal, I think I spent the next 2 minutes hugging my dad bawling my eyes out. Still surreal.

Great day - parade was better though, unfettered joy !!

That's my favourite video, because I was probably only a few rows behind the guy that took the video. That clip is pretty much exactly how I remember seeing the goal at the time before absolute chaos ensues.

It's funny how you mention the head in hands thing because I had my head in my hands almost instantly and I think that that was the pose I held for about half an hour following the final whistle (bar hugging the occasional friend, relative and complete stranger). It was just total disbelief at what we'd just witnessed.

Looking at these clips it seems I was far from the only one doing so.

Brilliant, note guy trying to get on the pitch being chased by stewards at end of clip, didn't realise the exuberance had started that early.

saw this one earlier today. go through it by clicking pause button. it captures many Hibee faces of sheer elation with one wee laddie sitting down, head in hands not being able to take it in. done this 10 times now and keep seeing something new.

Boy that set me off again. We were behind, above and slightly to the left of the goal and after watching so many videos I said to my daughter to remember it from where she was standing on the day, and also to remember all the wee details of what we did before, during and after the game.

GGTTH!

Everyone was just stunned and elated.

Normally after a goal we break into song a matter of tens of seconds later. It must of taken us a good 2 minutes to get it together and get into song mode

This has to be my favourite.

From the boy shouting 'finish iiiiit' to the faces as the camera pans round, the whole video still gives me goosebumps every single time
