To be fair, there is an interview with Cummings and McGinn in another thread where Cummings says he feels his job with hibs is done

I saw Lennon talk about this on the news last night and he was spot on. They were talking about their futures when they attended the championship POTY press briefing

Let the media games begin :cb

Now we're back in the top flight, our key players are fair game and in the sights of disruptive media hacks. Apart from Allan and Cummings last summer, we've had 3 relatively peaceful years where Hibs could get on with their business without this kind of crap. Expect much much more of this in coming months.

Sutton was doing much the same on BT Sport last night. His opinion is that Lennon will leave as Hibs squad not good enough for his ambitions.

And go where? Winning that league means nothing in England he's still the manager that struggled with Bolton down there. Realistically the only move Lennon could make would be to League1.

Sutton is his pal so probably thinks more highly of him than your average person. There is no bigger club in Scotland for Lennon to progress to.

They were both interviewed at Hampden this week while promoting player of the year. Mcginn said I will have to speak to my family & agent to see what is best for my future. JC said most of my work is done here. I would love to stay with hibs for the rest of my career but that doesn't happen these days. It was on STV news.

It was the players who were mouthing off when they didn't need to.They've been put in their places by the manager.

To a degree I agree, but you can understand being caught off guard at a big presentation, they are young get ambushed & just say what ever is in their heads without pausing to think.
