Well if that's the limit to your ambition fine but I for one have ambitions for this fine football club to be trouncing bottom feeders such as Raith Rovers, not conceding two goals at home. Sloppy in my opinion. If we have eyes on second and another cup next season then we need to do better. Ambition, please get some.

E
so are you saying we shouldn't have used this unique opportunity (well unique to us) to blood youngsters and give some fringe players a chance?

I'm not sure if you're trying to be funny or not. You're not very good at it. If you're being serious, your comments are well wide of the mark.

What's with the Es? Is that what you've been on?

You misspelt correct mate. If we want to finish second next season then we can't be failing with a very basic offside trap.

You seem to have misspelled "look at me" a few times this evening. You're either anti-Lennon, anti-Hibs or are just at it.

I don't think I'm alone in being pleased with what happened tonight.

Thought the young guys were great tonight. A few mistakes but that was what this game was more about I guess. Felt Harris could have been more vocal when wanting the ball.

Dunno if I just hadn't noticed it before but Forster asked Holt for advice when he was warming up.

Every time Bobby Barr comes to Easter Road he tries to make himself relevant by gesturing in some way towards the East... Still hurting from 21/5/2016 I think.

You do realise that they've already won promotion, right? And they also won the game tonight.

Noticed Hendo at the game again tonight.

Hope we bring him home as soon as the transfer window opens. :agree:

I was just about to ask that.

Enjoyed myself tonight. Delighted for Holt, Keatings and the young lads who both had good games.

Aaaah, Bobby Barr. The wee Hun tramp.

Not the first time he's seen his team concede a 92nd minute goal to make it 3v2.

Up ye.

I'm sick of winning the league and going on cup runs and all, absolute nightmare supporting Hibs right now

I know what you mean. Constant stress of cup ties, the costs of extra games. Nightmare. Must be easier being a Hertz fan with no cup runs to stress you out.

Entertaining evening of football, glad I went.

Pros: Fraser Murray, Holt, Keatings, McLean and Ambrose all played well.

Cons: Graham showing why he's away at the end of the season. Harris: sorry mate, enough chances to prove yourself. Time to move elsewhere. Humphrey's style of play consists of running down the wing a wee bit, not beating his man, stopping, mediocre cross. He'll be away too.

Very harsh considering it was his first game back from injury and he hasn't played that much this season.

Against Dundee Utd he was our main attacking threat and really took apart Paul Dixon at left back for them.

He could have had two assists within the first 5 minutes today with his crosses to Murray and Graham that were inch perfect and right on their heads.

Lennon was pleased enough with him.

He looked short of fitness but put some great balls into the box. Even if he isn't playing well he does the most important thing a winger can do and that is stay wide. By doing so he creates more space in the middle for the centre forwards and it really showed tonight particularly in the first half hour when Harris was often involved on the other side. If we had bought a couple of wingers we may well have had a far more enjoyable season as the first 30 minutes were great to watch tonight. We moved so well and passed the ball so quickly and crisply compared to the slow motion of most of the season. If Raith planned to have men behind the ball we never gave them the chance to do it and I think that has been the case most of the season. tams have wanted to sit back and we are so slow it has given the time to get every man behind the ball.

Last night was enjoyable. The young lads played well and Holt showed when he came on that he's worth trying to convince him to stay another year.

There will easily be at least 16k at the game

I reckon the hibs end will sell out. I'm sure a few of the non regulars will be there to see the party afterwards and see some of the young lads. St mirren will be battling like mad so we can't play too much of a weakened team.

After last night am not sure what you mean by weakened team! We had failed to beat Raith with our top line up three times running. Great imo that we have so much strength in depth and promising youngsters coming through. This is exactly the time to assess fringe players and also give the youngsters a chance!

Whatever team we put out I will be having a good day out, that's for sure.😀

Just looked at the remaining fixtures. Mad how it's worked out. All three bottom teams playing us and each other. Fight to the death

Why not will be an excellent crowd IMO when we get given the trophy in the last game of the season.

Was last night's attendance our lowest of the season (in the league)?

Still pretty amazing figures.

We only just managed 17k in the title decider vs QotS

I think 18-19k is a bit ambitious considering the league is decided and our season is over

I may be wrong though, seems to be selling very quickly

If St Mirren still have survival to play for they will bring far more than QotS did.

1.5K+ from them isn't unrealistic and the home stands will be close to a sell out.
