Celtic could score 10 here.

I know praising Celtic is frowned upon by some but they are a good team to watch. Good to see a core of talented young Scottish players on show in Tierney, Armstrong and McGregor as well. That has to be good for Scotland if you can get those 3 plus Gordon and possibly Griffiths as a core to build around if they are playing well together every week.

Celtic are miles ahead of Aberdeen, The Rangers, Hibs (being honest), and everyone else in Scotland right now. Hope it's a cricket score today.

They will go on to beat what I thought was a fairly ordinary Aberdeen team yesterday in the final. Hibs should/could have beat Aberdeen yesterday, but we beat ourselves. Plus lady luck deserted Hibs, yet again, at Hampden (their 3rd goal).

I don't know much about it but I have to say that when I heard that 35 year old Ibrahimovic had suffered a cruciate ligament injury that that wouldn't be injury that would be brushed off easily.

If a player had been seriously injured that their life was in danger or they had died then by all means do that kind of thing. Otherwise I think it's cringeworthy.

He will need to vastly improve that defence and goalkeeping situation. That's their biggest weakness and has cost them dearly. Bravo, Caballero, Sagna, Clichy, Kolarov, Otamendi are simply not good enough. Zabaleta has aged and doesn't have the pace no longer to get up and down the right flank. Navas has been playing RB for them just now and he's an attacking RW. Only decent defender they have is Kompany and he's injury prone. Stones for £49M is just insane. I'm not going to write him off just yet as he might become good but whenever I've watched him, he just looks very shaky and nervous.

Think the europa league winner qualifies for champs league at the expense of the lowest champs league qualifier from that country.

No, the country gets an additional place, up to a maximum of 5 entries per country. Not sure what happens to the space vacated by united if they finished in the top 4 and won the EL. It would leave one space empty.

Barca players crowding the referee for every single decision. Really fed up with this, they have previous for it. About time FIFA brought in the rule where only the captain can speak to the ref.
Both at it from what I can see.

It's no coincidence that when Holt has picked up, Messi follows.

What a game! What a result! Madrid lucky to have as many as 10 on The pitch at the end. And the far linesman missed at least 3 blatant offsides - must have Scottish blood in him!

Glad to see Messi get it up Madrid after they, yet again, targeted him with the intent of doing some serious damage.

He looked back to his untouchable best at times tonight. We really are lucky to be witnessing this guy in his prime.

Messi will always be a step a head of Ronaldo, Messi has pure talent - born with it and isn't human. Ronaldo is a brilliant player and has worked very very hard to get to where he is now, but he's just not quite got that final piece of quality that Messi does. I have seen Maradona and Messi both play and think Messi is just as good, if not better than Maradona.

That Madrid Barca game was just sheer class. Fantastic game.

That Messi lad is getting close to McGinns level.
