Alfredos West Nile St is open from 8.00 usually.
Iron Horse on other side of street is slightly later, 8.30 or 9.00.

We're heading for the Iron Horse on West Nile Street opens at 9am.
Also Alfredo's across from it opens same time. Been there before other games, just buy breakfast roll and that lets you fill your boots.

A mate suggested the Crystal Palace spoons near central. Anyone know if you can dine and drink there at 9am?

We were in before the Falkirk semi and you had to buy a breakfast (not a breakfast roll but a full cooked breakfast of some description) and from memory you could get 2 drinks for each one or something like that. It was absolutely rammed and to be honest was hardly worth it. That was a few years ago now but I'd doubt Wetherspoons will be as lax with the early drinking licence as Alfredos.

The baby grand at charing cross station opens at 9. I think its a similar deal i.e. need to buy some food. Its a decent wee pub.

I will be out in the back garden in Finnieston from 9 if anyone is struggling!

Anyone staying over tonight? We're staying near Hampden (Holmlea road, good for parking btw if youre driving and not too far from the stadium) but night out tonight in the Merchant City.

What flight you getting?

Look out for two head shaven Hibs fans (incognito obviously) with english accents, we'll be starting in the Blackfriars around 7ish.

Enjoy!

Counting House in George Square, right outside Queen Street station. Decent bacon rolls and it's the only pub Mrs Al recommends.

A bacon roll doesn't count as breakfast in the Counting House, and therefore not eligible for your two pints. There is a breakfast wrap that is the next closet acceptable breakfast order.

This comes from experience from doing the Glasgow Subcrawl in January.

There's a kids menu so yes. It's got Mad Dog, Buckie and Sourz on it - my 9 year old seems happy enough with that but is hoping that the Buckie is available on draught.
