Do we have more than a 30% chance of winning in 90 minutes? If not it's not a big price. It's actually the worst price that I can see with any bookie.

Swithering over 100 on Hibs to win the tie or 50 quid in 90 minutes

Great price given we have papped them regularly out of cups recently :aok:

I think Aberdeen will bottle it again......their central defensive unit is weak and I hope we play two strikers. Teams have fallen into this myth that Aberdeen are some kind of 'second coming' and yet when they are pressed and harried they are really poor. We also need some width on the day - Boyle needs to play.

Interesting McInnes played Christie at the weekend.......think he will play at the weekend and be allowed to roam so no danger I would play Bartley, it has to be Fyvie for me. Plus FF has incentive to beat Aberdeen. Play Marvin in the midfield we will lose against a team with a dynamic midfield.

Same team as the weekend for me.

He left on his own accord.

I can see that with the likes of Jason Cummings against Hertz & Robbo against Hibs. The point I was making was he wasn't kicked out of the dons he left to make the big bucks.

True, but even when I played juvenile for 'them' v Hibs, I wanted to score loads.....'cos I wanted Hibs to sign me :greengrin

Fyvie is by far and away the better footballer and Marvin slows play down - something we don't need v Aberdeen. I like Bartley, but he's not a starter for me. When all fit, that midfield at the weekend cannot be topped.

That was because they went about 50 years or so of mysteriously not meeting in a semi final. A statistic along the lines of being hit by an asteroid and winning the lottery on the exact same day.

It was 1925 last time Celtic beat Rangers In a SC semi.
Other ties the huns won are 1960 1992 1996 1998 & the most significant 2016 so your 50 yr mystery is way of the mark.

If I'm reading that correctly then they met once (1960) in 67 years (1925 - 1992) which still looks like a mystery to me.

We have a good chance on Saturday, but I wouldn't expect us to be much lower a price as Aberdeen are 2nd by a distance in the league above.

As for the other semi final, a bet on Rangers is just money flushed away. Celtic are an absolute cert for that one.

Absolutely especially for about 30 years they were pretty much in every semi final. Anyone not thinking something a little suspicious about that still believes in fairies at the bottom of the garden.

Whatever your agenda is wi this it's borin! Really stupid & borin! Scottish fitba was so crooked, so absolute bent, towards those 2, & "Glesgae" it was so obvious & so shameless, because at that time they knew they had it absolute made, if you say different from, 1 era only, the 70s, yer an imposter wi an agenda.

I'm sure you know the old story about the bookie 50 odd years ago published the odds for the Scotland England game (advertised in the record)and if you took all three results you couldn't lose. Many poured on but it turned out he wasn't a mug because he did a runner with the dosh.
