I'll go 1-1 then 2-1 in extra time.

This. Wouldn't be surprised with a narrow win for either team.

Can see it being won after ET and penalties!!

Not overly confident, but don't fear them at all.

Think it'll be a tight game. Can see it going the distance.

Aberdeen are a good team, but not a team to be feared. We may have just got ourselves out the championship, but this is, in effect, two teams of premier league standard up against each other. Could go either way on the day.

2-1 Hibs, Aberdeen aren't great, in fact, i'd go as far as to say they are "overrated"

Daz McGregor winner. :greengrin

Aberdeen have taken over Hibs "bottlers" tag. They generally come unstuck in the big games. I don't think there's much between Hibs and Aberdeen but think our Scottish cup momentum will see us through.

We can win. Ill take whatever score ensures we do. 0-0 semi united was a game we always fell short. Dug out a win.

Aberdeen are rightly favourites, but often choke at hampden.

Wouldn't be surprised to see either team win.

Yes they carry our old monkey and as underdogs pressure on them. Hibs though will as always have to deal with history of less than a year hoodoo since the won the cup.

Not got a confident feeling about this one at all. We absolutely CAN beat aberdeen, I just have a feeling we won't on Saturday! Do hope I'm wrong though, and maintain their centre halves are there to be got at.

My prediction? I think Aberdeen will win by a couple of goals. My predictions are useless though so nothing to worry about.. one thing is for certain, we will go and give it a go, the fans will have ANOTHER day out to hampden, and we've nothing to lose. Who knows, maybe we'll see a lift in performance now the league pressure is over...

i see two main battles Hibs have to win to stand a chance. We need to win the midfield battle and we need to have a go at their CH's. Our midfield if they play to their potential can and will give Aberdeen a run for their money.
As for Battle against their CH's, I'd let Boyle and (or if he comes on later in game ) Harris run at them and try and tire them out or get them to give away stupid foals. If one is booked put everything through that channel to see if they give away another stupid foal or even get second yellow.

Think game will be tight but going for win in extra time for hibs with Boyle having his best game in a Hibs shirt.

It will be like Aberdeen in every Scottish Cup semi in recent years:

Aberdeen will go 1-0 up

Aberdeen lose 2 late goals to lose 2-1

Cummings and Ambrose to score for Hibs and the Dons Scottish Cup curse to continue

Hard to call .. if Aberdeen are on there game they will win, depends if Nial McGinn plays, but Rooney and Hayes are major threats, I would go with the same Hibs team that started on Saturday and see how it pans out.. too close to call and it will be the better team on the day that goes through ( I hope )

2-1 is a good call I think

Here’s a report on St Johnstone 2 Aberdeen 1 in a recent cup semi
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/26908707

Then of course there was Hibs 2 Aberdeen 1 a couple of years before that
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/17643234

Even when Aberdeen hit 3 in a cup semi at Hampden, Queen of the South scored 4

2-1 for Hibs for me

I think it'll be a close one, they are very good in attack but not so good in defense whereas we are solid in defense (usually) but have lacked a bit of a cutting edge recently. Their team pretty much picks itself so it'll come down to which team we put out, if we get it down and play football we have a very good chance, but if we go back to Holt up front & playing hoofball then I think we'll get beat.

Aberdeen are a very good side but for some reason i'm just ever so slightly quietly confident. We've got the league wrapped up which was the big aim for the season, so now we can afford to relax a bit more and enjoy being in bonus territory. We can now give having another crack at the cup our full focus without having one eye on the league or worrying about key players getting injured for our promotion push.

Think it'll be tight, either 1-0 or 2-1 either way. We knocked them out last season in the league cup and they looked far from convincing last week against the huns so they are a good team but certainly beatable.

Out of the last 9 cup games between us they've won once. They have a poor record against us in the cup and an awful recent record at Hampden.

Fear we will be unable to cope with the threats of Hayes & Nial McGinn, so expect Aberdeen to narrowly win.
