hopefully we get 4 home games against the old and new firm and 2 against them by my account that would be 6 games at 3600 away fans paying roughly £25 a ticket doing my maths that comes in at £540000 not bad addition to the transfer funds or wages towards new signings ggtth:flag::flag::flag:

Aberdeen never fill the dunbar end - they will bring less than 2k which is still a brilliant away support.

Think OP is talking about ugly sisters and jambos and assuming we finish top 6.

On topic of assumptions, successful semi final leading to another cup final Cup Final could throw another half mill into the pot. Win it and between European tie(s) and another DVD that's another half mill at least.

Anne, you gotta sell a hell of a lot lot of cakes and bricks to make that sort of income.

The trouble is a lot pay concession prices.

Also there is no guarantee of two home matches against anyone. If Hibs finish in the top-six are Hearts sure to be there?

Or Hibs fans could continue to buy Season Tickets in record numbers and we can reduce the amount of away tickets we give these supports.

Still think both the Edinburgh teams should give each other a full stand.
If we were able to sell a few thousand in the south, to limit Ranges and Celtic, I'm all for that. In fact I'd give Rangers no more than they give us!
Providing we can sell the stadium out

And that is the flaw Billy.

I don't disagree, most of the games against Old Firm will be played Saturday/Sunday lunch times as well

I would personally give Rangers the same proportion of our stadium that we get at Ibrox - which would be roughly 400 tickets.

I agree with your sentiment, however it would be financially stupid.

Give them 400 tickets and probably have 3400 empty seats in the South Stand costing us in the region of £100,000.

People will argue that we could fill the other seats ourselves but that won't happen other than occasionally.

I know but it would make me feel better.

Plus in true Hearts style, we would really only owe it to ourselves. :greengrin

I wouldn't give them any tickets. Don't want to hear their sectarian drivel. Sell the tickets to Hibs fans.

Away end holds 3,900 not 3,600

I really hope at some point between next season and the one after we will be able to split the south for both home and away fans if demand is there

I read it as being an increase from the usual 300 away fans that we've had in this division.

I think in recent history the number of Hibs supporters attending home games v Celtic or Oldco Rangers/Sevco tends to drop from what we would get in other games; daft KO times, people reluctant to take kids, increased likelyhood of losing etc all tend to mean despite an extra 3600 in the South Stand the overall crowd not being up 3600.
