Anyone know an exact figure as to how many we have sold thus far? Boy sitting in front of me said between 8K-9K. Don't know if that is true or not?

Could we break the mowbray record of 12/13k?

Did we really have that many when Mowbray was here?

Leanne said on the radio we had sold 8k already.

So 12k seems a good target

Think we sold 10,300 season tickets last season.
Hopefully promotion will trigger activity.
As usual there will be those including current season ticket holders, who wait until the last possible moment, so hard to guess what the final total will be.

12,500 season tickets plus an average 3,500 walk ups and an average 1000 away supporters would give an average of 17,000 fans next season, which would be excellent and give us the the highest budget in the country bar the uglies.

8,000 season tickets sold so far at an average £250 would represent a war chest of £2 million to date.

I renewed today. The plan was always to buy it his month but just hadn't got around to it but at full time today it seemed an entirely appropriate time to do it.

My dad still has to renew his and expect there'll be others in the same boat as him.

Always been a walk up, won't make every game next season, but will now get my first ever season ticket after 50 years :agree:

Our record season ticket total ever is 11,500.

This season we got to 11,300 when we include half season tickets.

We have over 8,000 by 15th April with renewal deadline 7 weeks away on 1st June. New season is c16 weeks away. To date 15% of sales have been new season ticket sales.

We have just confirmed we are back in the top league so product and entertainment should be higher.

Even allowing for a conservative 15% increase we should be able to comfortably reach 12k, realistically achieve 12.5k and potential to get to 13k.

This and add walk up and higher away fans and average attendance should go from just over 15k to 16.5 to 17k. We should comfortably sell out Celtic, Rangers and Hearts home games and possibly Aberdeen games.

I predict our home attendances will be higher than HOMFC for next season as the Levein experiment continues.

We will smash our record. Our average attendance must be highest since early 70's and we are in 3rd season in championship. Frightening how big our fan base is. 22/5/17 was an eye opener.

I think you meant 22/5/16 but never mind. you were correct. I will renew for next season, and may add to mine for my Daughter and her we'an.

I hope you are right with everything you say but I'm not just as sure as you.

I don't think Hamilton, ICT, Ross County, Kilmarnock, Motherwell, Dundee or even Partick are anything better than Dundee Utd, Dunfermline, Falkirk, Raith in terms of travelling support or football worth watching. A lot of teams will still come to Easter Road and try to frustrate rather than make a game of it.

We 100% need to be in the top division of Scottish football but it's not the land of milk and honey that a lot of fans seem to expect.

Away supports except for Hearts , Celtic and The Rangers and Aberdeen if meaningful for league position will probably be lower than for last 3 seasons and with higher prices for walk ups ,fewer Saturday 3 pm starts , possibly fewer home wins and some fans not wanting to take kids to matches against The Rangers and Celtic home crowds may not be as high as this season . For away matches , I doubt fans will find Killie , Hamilton or Ross County for example more enjoyable than Morton , Raith and Dundee United .

Maybe too late to organise but would it not be a good idea to offer a category B match season ticket for South Stand ? Interesting for adults who don`t want to take kids to category A games (adults could be given priority for Cat A games in other stands and priority for cup finals etc ) , Kicks For Kids etc as well as improving atmosphere .
