Just watched a bit of the 40 years celebration programme on the telly.
Steven Henry facially reminds me so much of Goodwillie - in an annoying kinda way.
Jimmy White and Ken Doherty get wild cards for 2 years.
Wouldn't it be brilliant to see Jimmy Hibsit :greengrin

Stephen Hendry?

Aye, that's him. He can't even spell his own name. Typical Jambo

Going down to the evening session of both semis on Thursday & Friday. 6th year in a row heading down, love it 👍

Hope Higgins makes it, "C'mon John"!

Got lucky and saw Hendry the year he retired. Was the day after his 147 though, could almost have cried! Haha

Higgins should have been banned for life for the fixing incident. Although I think he claimed it was a misunderstanding, it looked quite straight forward to me.
He appeared to be willing to take a dive for the dosh.

started watching the final last night with higgins was 10-4 ahead, now it's 10-9, he should win this frame though to make it 11-9

It's 12-11 to Selby just now playing the last frame of the afternoon.

Selby leading 15-12 now.

He's been impressive today, I think this was always on the cards after he won the last 3 frames last night and got it back to 10-7 overnight. Despite Higgins still holding a 3 frame advantage, I think Selby was always likely to come out and do what he's done today.

Mini revival by Higgins as he gets it back to 16-14.

I still fancy Selby though.

Very hard to tell.

From one of the angles they showed you, it looked like the black moved slightly but from every other angle, the reflection of the lights on the ball never moved at all which is always an indication of whether a ball has moved or not in snooker.

It was extremely close but I think the correct decision was made.

Thanks for that. Just shows you what lovely people the press are and how good they are at leading folk up the garden path (me included). This applies to all aspects of news they report on -sport, politics, current affairs, etc.
Once a respected medium, now exposed and viewed as a bunch of lying, conniving illegitimates.

Yeah the press, especially the tabloid press, really shouldn't be trusted. They set Higgins up and tried to ruin his career. His former manager should take a lot of the blame too IMHO.
