Does anyone know if that banner will be making an appearance at Hampden in a couple of weeks?
I hope it was a one off. That phrase belongs to that day IMO.

This. Don't want a potential defeat to the sheep tarnishing it. It should always be for 21/5/16

No - although still discussing a permanent home for it in ER.

Has the story of who and how this legendary banner was chosen ever been shared ? Never read it ...

Taken from The Libertines song of the same name and worked superbly for what was required on the day. Good bit thinking from whoever it was that suggested it.

Probably my favourite post from the entire Kickback cup final thread(and boy was there stiff competition) was the throbber pre match who posted "great banner there from the Hibs fans 'Time for heroes'...very catchy lol". Well my friend, it would appear it was very catchy after all [emoji28]

It should never be used again ..... it has gone down in history and that's where it should remain.

I think we should use it again.
Just stick a 2 at the end.
Here we go

Howz about a banner with ":yawn2: Here we go again" (just to wind them up)?
I agree that banner is sacred to the Day. It should be displayed somewhere special in ER.
Three simple words that totally encapsulated the feelings and emotions of the occasion.

"Sheared by Malonga"
The Green Goblin

"Time for Shearers"? (The trick is to say it out loud!)
Seriously though, that banner was a one-off. If there was to be a repeat of something similar, it would be better to keep it for the final (if we get there), but even then I don't think it would quite feel the same.
If we get through though and it's the huns, might I suggest "Don't fear the walking dead"? :greengrin

"How to defend the Scottish cup" would rub it in.

How about an "Exuberance, no malice" flag...
I'd like to see something ridiculing the police over the last 11 months - might struggle to get that in though haha
