Great effort that 15000 have been sold already. The other 6000 will surely be snapped up this week.

does this mean that another 10k will be kept back until all the 21k for each side have been sold? holds 52k at Hampden

So if 'over 15,000' have been sold, that suggests that around 76,000 tickets remain of the 21,000 initial allocation.

Less than 2,500 are on the planner including 1,500 from the currently unavailable Block G6-G8 and around 1,000 in Block F1-F7 and Block G1-G5.

Have Hibs mislaid the other 3,500?

No, I think if either side sell the 21k there would be more made available to them. Think it'll be about 18k Hibbies and 10K sheep. Their Hun debacle will probably convince a few to stay at home.

Bit more of them I'd say they had sold 8k by the 24th March.

Don't really get the Hun part making people stay home ??

Looking at the stadium map I would have said we sold easily over 16,000.

Though front 4 rows seem to be not for sale. So 21,000 is including lower tier.

Still a decent effort and hopefully we can sell the full lower allocation to join up east and south stands with Hibs fans.

I think that the other 10,000 are in the Upper South Stand, and the corporate/blazers area in the middle of the Lower South Stand (Blocks O1-O2 and J1-J2).

15k sold, not quite what people were claiming but still a decent amount, hopefully can sell a few thousand more, though it may take a decent performance on Sat to inspire those not yet committed.

He has ment to put 6000 I'd say , which adds up to 21k as we have sold 15 k .

:agree: If we all but wrap up the title, will sell quite a few more as the Cup will be all we have left to play for. A sorry state of affairs :greengrin

Think there's a bit of a feeling among the sheep that they bottle it in big games like the huns or a semi. They certainly caved on sunday so here's hoping ...

Just been on SSN that we've sold 15,000. Get anywhere near 20,000 and that would be a great achievement for a semi final.

Cannae wait. Another trip to our second home. :aok:

Our section of the north holds 4,500 and the east IIRC holds 12,000 .... I'm not sure of the capacity of the sections we have sold out in the south, but lets say its 4,000. We have sold out the north and a few single seats aside we appear to have sold out over two thirds of the east which would be over 8,000 ...... the figure of under 16,000 looks a bit conservative.

Like another poster the thing I don't get is that if we have sold between 15 and 16 thousand that leaves at least 5,000 tickets still to sell if our allocation was 21,000 .... from the stadium plan there doesn't appear to be 5,000 seats available in the east stand which is the only stand that has unsold seats in it ... unless you count the one single seat that's suddenly become available in the south :greengrin

Unless they have taken seats out the system for the general sale? If they didn't do this, lots of fans wouldn't be able to sit together!

Why would Hibs keep back tickets in the say North stand for non season ticket holders when many season ticket holders couldn't get in there because of the size of their group? Also I am sure the SFA like the north stand and nearby sections to be full for TV coverage. 3000 tickets is a lot to hide! Something not quite right.

They didn't. But when it went to the public sale which was online only, they'll have kept some back so people going to the ticket office had some good seats available too

They did the same when they first went on sale to season ticket holders online/phone initially. Some were kept back for the sales at the ticket office for season ticket holders

Genuinely interested in what stands you think the 3000 tickets are available? Surely not in the North or South.

Genuinely don't know for definite. However we had the same situation before the ticket office sales became available for season ticket holders. Like you I think it's unlikely to be north/south so will likely be a new number of rows in the F & G areas.

Was just giving an opinion on why we seem to be 2-3000 less sold than the seating plan is showing

Not many teams in Scotland would take 15000 to a semi final so that's already an impressive number with almost 2 weeks left until the game.

Hopefully if we can get a good result on Saturday (and maybe even win the league) we'll see close to our allocation being sold.

No idea, only thing that I can think of to be honest, but they have taken tickets off line, at every part of the semi final selling stage

Hibs v United last year had a total attendance of 19551
Hibs v Falkirk in 2015 had a total attendance of 21227

I'm not sure what the Hibs splits were in those games.

I'd say we had 14k at the Utd game but as we're defending the cup , can see us selling out our 21k and asking for more .

Does our bit of north and south and the whole of the east hold 21k? If not perhaps our initial allocation includes the south upper?
If those three sections do hold 21k then the T.O must have held tickets back in several sections. I'd imagine in the east.

Pretty poor at this stage, though they are obviously affected more by the stupid kick off time .... the TV is a much more attractive prospect if the alternative is that you have to get up at 6 in the morning to catch a bus or train I would imagine. They seem pretty downbeat about this game on their forum, not so much at the prospect of losing to us, but the fact that they have no optimism whatsoever that they could beat Celtic if they got to the final ... in fact some of them already saying they wont go to the final if its against Celtic ....... pretty pathetic if you ask me.

Looks like they will be lucky to hit 15,000 ....... if nothing else hopefully seeing our support outnumber theirs by a big margin should give our lads a gee up before a ball is even kicked .... the tickets in G4 and G5 seem to be selling pretty steadily with both sections now amber .... wont be long till the last two sections in the east become available I would imagine :agree:

Ticket Police are not available they're helping the CID investigate 5-6000 ticket holders invasion of a pitch somewhere in Glasgow on the 21/5/16. All help will be gratefully appreciated.
