Major change from when first announced a cash only gate to both to now Ticket only. I suspect we've shift quite a few.

Must have shifted a good number to get such a statement. I know a few who were thinking of doing PATG, but at least there is plenty time to get tickets sent out/collected. I'm travelling back from Ireland Friday night so hoping my ticket will be behind the door.

Morton trying to keep the hibs crowd down with no patg?

Any club in this division would be mad to deliberately keep crowds down.

i think that's the last thing the morton boardroom will want (imo), just like dunfermline the more away fans the merrier, more cash in the coffers

Morton trying to keep the hibs crowd down with no patg?

Probably more to do with nowhere to put us all if too many turn up after advance sales.
I don't know if you have been to Cappilow before, but the Wee Dublin End won't be the safest away end if over filled. Bench seating which many will opt to stand in a similar fashion to the old east stand by standing up on the benches.

Really? There will be PATG at the Morton end. Could be a problem if many Hibs supporters turn up with no ticket. I would have thought the police would insist that there was PATG at the Hibs end.

Why would they do that.
It should be their aim to make getting into games easier not harder:confused:

Any idea how many tickets we get ?

Expecting a large Hibs turnout - a win would be massive.

They were concerned that there was a chance that Hibs could clinch the League that day and that too many fans travelled through, more than the end could take.

That could have meant issues in that you had a lot of unhappy Hibbies locked out or went into Morton areas of the ground to see the game.

Hope this helps your confusion.

If we win on Saturday do we win the league?

No, but we'd have the kind of lead that only Heart of Midlothian, Craig Levein's digestive system and Albert Kidd could possibly conspire to blow.

I am looking for a 12-16 year old ticket, now suddenly my niece wants to come. Unfortunately I can't make it to the ticket office in the morning as I stay in Falkirk. Could meet at the ground if anyone has a spare. Please pm if you can help.

Sir David Gray

If we win on Saturday do we win the league?

No, we currently need a maximum of 8 points in order to win the title (realistically 7 points given the goal difference).

If we win tomorrow we'll then need a maximum of 4 points (depending on the Dundee Utd-Falkirk result). If Falkirk lose then we can win it with a victory against Queen of the South next week.

If you don't have a ticket, you'll need to buy one from Easter Road this morning. There won't be any tickets available at Cappielow for the Hibs end.

Wasnt sure if i was going to be back in time If the total allocation has been sold great
But if there end up a few hundred tickets left unsold why not sell them at the ground

Absolutely
The place is a shambles, not surprised we're "only" taking just over a thousand today. The facilities for the away supporters are not worthy of a division 2 team

Agreed. I'm sitting in the main stand (home end) and it's like a trip back to the 70s. Just back from Madrid. No way I could have got through to Edinburgh for a ticket for the home end. I'll just need to behave when we score a late winner 😉

Would Greenock Morton be allowed into the Scottish Premiership with a dump of a "stadium" like that? (Assuming they got up through the play-offs).

It was actually pretty enjoyable sitting out in the sunshine, but been there plenty when cold and wet which is no fun. Norseman won't have changed much over the decades, but at £2.50 a pint there was no complaints from our party. Few softish areas of flooring which suggests the place could fall through though!

Whatever they were passing off as Best from the John Smiths tap was garbage. And yes, its only a matter of time before a few jakeys meet their maker by virtue of a trip through that floor!
