Not having so many useless, incompetent referees although the ones in the top league are not much better they are still a bit better.

Good point - ought to have added that. I'm also looking forward to a more professional class of sash-wearing mutant Hun next term.

Just after I typed that I noticed Clancy is the ref at Tincastle. Kind of defeats my point I suppose.

I must be in a minority have been to more games in last 3 seasons than any time in last 35 years of supporting Hibs and also enjoyed more than being in the mid/lower top table during lots of seasons.

I think it will be back to missing loads of Sunday games next season and not going to Dingwall/Inverness/Aberdeen as just too much hassle for someone as lazy as me.

Cheap pints as well in most locations.

A day out (or 2) in Perth with my St Johnstone supporting mate.

Most looking forward to signing a second decent striker to play alongside JC, someone like a Malonga or a Stokes and also a midfielder with a bot more creativity. And as I live in the NE being able to see more of our games!

This thread reminds me of a great trip i had late on 3 years ago to the PBS to heartily sing in great merriment of hearts demise into the championship..The relegation party i think it was named.

Lets just make sure we get up before we start this nonsense

Getting rid of Holt, Keatings, Graham and getting two or three good strikers who can score ****ing goals - not just 'hold the ball up' .. as a lot of posters on here seem to think that's the main role of a striker.
A striker's job is to score goals. That's it.

Playing teams that are actually interested in playing football and trying to win the game without kicking lumps out of our players with zero punishment for it

Europe.
I'm a European glory hunter and I'll never go to lots of games in Scotland due to my location. Would love a Copenhagen type trip again soon.
Fingers crossed we win the cup and it comes sooner rather than later.

Just to be back where we belong and not feel like a second class citizen, which we have been for the last three seasons. OK, the cup win did soften the blow big style but the thought of becoming a permanent resident in the Championship is demoralising.

If we do go up ( I presume nothing :greengrin ) Just seeing how we get on ..... its one thing pumping premier league teams in the cup, doing it week in week out will be a lot more of a challenge.

If there is one thing Hibs time in the championship hasn't prepared us for its playing away to teams throughout the league who will be expecting to beat us when we play away to them, there will also be home games against many teams who wont just sit in and hope for a breakaway goal ...... that's totally different to the championship, where 90% of our games don't put huge pressure on our midfield defensively, or our back 4 for that matter.

What has been forgotten over the last 3 seasons is that our record as a top 6 team is utterly, utterly woeful, in each season we have finished in the top 6 we have barely won a game ........ apart from beginning the season with the aim of a top 6 finish changing that record if we do make the top 6 has to be our next ambition, with the exception of Celtic who are light years ahead of everybody in Scotland, being able to compete with Aberdeen, St Johnstone and the Yams has to be a realistic ambition.
