Just handed in my application for singing section in FF upper. Anyone know how many applications have been handed in? As I hope this does not turn into a bit of a flop and no one turns up. And does anyone know the thinking behind having it in the FF upper? Seems a bizarre place to have it and personally always though the East section 43 was a better option.

They have had over 140 applications so far which is a massive increase on the numbers that currently go to the singing section in Sect43.

Apparently over 140. Maybe a lot of people don't want to go as they're unsure if it will work, but hopefully it will sound and look good then more people will join in.

Yep, will take a season or two for it to take off. Celtics Green Brigade used to have a row or two up the back of a stand up the back of nowhere, now have about 500 "seats" in a 3000 capacity safe standing section.
