As the title says this could go all the way.

Three out of the bottom four won today and the other drew at the league leaders.

There are no easy games left now and it's up to everyone in the dressing room to realise that.

A draw at Brockville and we'll have got away with it again but we're pushing our luck.

I don't think we've got the character (we've got the ability) to beat or draw with Falkirk.

I was talking about today's game against Morton as they are both up our erses.

Saying that it's a big game so we'll probably thrash them.

Said on the match thread that we'll undoubtedly play well next week. It's a big game which, for whatever reason, seems to be the only ones that can get our players motivated so I daresay they will fancy it and put in a performance.

I also said elsewhere that a strong character or 2 is required in the dressing room to call this pish out for what it is and get the players fired up for every game as they are all huge from now until the league is won (or lost I suppose).

Didn't realise you meant today's game. I have a feeling Falkirk will just edge it

We've blown so many chances to pull miles clear, we've got away with it so far but these games could come back and bite us.

It must be incredibly frustrating for Lennon, as, like the rest of us, he can them apply themselves for high-pressure games but not for these fixtures. As he says, he can only beat them so many times with the one stick. But I think you're right, it needs a loudmouthed arrogant ******* to really stir them up. Our reliable hard men like Bartley and McGregor are strong, silent types, who lead by example on the park. But the dressing room and pitch is in need of a noisy, mouthy twat that fans of other clubs instantly hate because he gets the home players and supporters going. There is a definite vacancy there.

Folk keep saying we're getting away with it. We're not getting away with it, we are slowly but steadily falling back to the pack and it's not inconceivable that one of them will catch us.

Keep the faith. In Lennon we trust.
We were unlucky today and crept away from United. Beat Falkirk and Morton and all is well. We can even afford to draw one. Hibs are doing just fine 😎 Did you see the penalty they were gifted?

I admire your faith. Fine is not how I would describe how we are doing. Bearable might be the word I would choose but we dipped below that today. We were also gifted a penalty, an own goal and a howler from their keeper unless you missed them and it still wasn't enough to get three points.

On current trajectory this league will come down to the wire. Here is the form for the last 6 games. It gets worse if you do it over 7 or 8 games. It is just as well we play to a good standard in the big games because if Falkirk or Morton or worse still both beat us we could very quickly find ourselves in deep bother.

I did wonder what type of football we would play under Lennon, TBH it's generally been poor fare. What I did expect, because of his don't f--- with me kind of attitude was consistency from the team, we've not had that. We need to win the next two games or it's a battle to the finish and the momentum is not with us!

So it has gone from "skooshing it" to down to the wire it seems.

Hibs have had chance after chance to put enough points between themselves and the teams chasing them to have basically had the league won by now. Time after time, they've failed to take those chances, and if that means they get caught then they will only have themselves to blame.

If you look at this and don't see any cause for concern, quite frankly, you're absolutely deluded.

Someone like Lennon.

So many managers have that doppleganger on the pitch. Ferguson had Miller at Aberdeen and Keane at Man U, who were verbal extensions of himself.

Our next two games are at home to Falkirk and Morton who're second and third. If we lose them it'll go down to the wire. If we win both it won't. Everything's very much in our own hands.

Exactly this. It's game over if we win our next 2 games.

The bottom line is we are just not that much better than the rest, no getting away from it that other clubs with way less resources than us are better at getting more bang for their bucks. To get out of this league you have to invest in better players than the rest which we have not done for the last 3 years, over to the wonderful Mr P as to why this was not done.

Yep ,6 games ago I was in the skoosh department,I think it's fair to say that in the games we've played since then, especially as 4 of those games were against the bottom teams, no one on here expected us to drop 9 points.
So now it could go down to the wire, although if we win our next 2 it won't.

This is the truth of it.
We are marginally better than the chasing pack and a little bit better than the rest, but we are far from convincing against most teams, with far too many draws and narrow wins.
The rare comfortable victory is just that, rare.

Don't believe that is the case this season at all. I doubt there would any Hibs player in and around our first team squad who wouldn't start or replace their counterpart in any of the chasing pack. The performances have to improve tho.

Correct . Beat Morton Falkirk we go up. After cup final and third season in champ I believe right or wrong motivation v so called smaller teams has been a factor
