...do we pay for our songbook arrogance tomorrow? Or plain sailing?

2-1 Hibs, in a nasty, ill-contested, heavy-carded turgid battle.

We wait until we're 3-0 up with only a couple of minutes left to play. Winding up the opposition could spur them on. A bit like calling Nade and Boyd fat and we know what happened then.

Warburton is still a fanny.

I'd take 1-0 in the 90th minute with an OG but nothing is going to change that a Warbartons a fanny

They're coming onto a game so it'll be another difficult one.

I'll take 1-0 right now.

A win is a win at the business end of the season.

A scrappy 1-0 will be just as acceptable as a 5-0 demolition tomorrow.

I see they have opened up a section of the south stand for Hibs fans tomorrow.

Its hibs kids day so that's where they're sitting.

Can Sam Stanton play for them tomorrow?

Not if he's still on loan from us, but seeing as they played an ineligible player against us in January , they might try it on. :greengrin

In that game we won 0-1, but I thought the result should have been increased to 0-3 giving us an extra 2 in goal difference.

At work today the conversations a couple of times went like this
Colleagues " what you up to this weekend. Me "going to football with my son". Colleagues "who you playing?" . Me "Dumbarton". Colleagues "that will be easy then". FFS you can tell they don't follow Hibs. We never do things easily. If we win the next three games 1-0 that will do me. Performances don't really matter either at the moment, all about points

Think Sam Stanton has been pretty key recently so hopefully him coming out will disrupt them.

I know he's still a young laddie, but is he no a bit old for them?

I think the players will have the bit between their teeth. We have had a few ropey performances and our tradition wobble, but now the finishing post is in sight and targeting the next three games as win at all costs will see us tear into teams.

3-0

This mob lost to Bonnyrigg Rose over two games. We should be winning this comfortably

One game at a time focus, focus, focus & win each game then what others do matters not at all.

I'm not sure I could handle the c70mins of sheer anxiety if that's how it transpires.

I'll take one nil but for the love of god score before half time to settle the nerves.

I'm not one for making predictions, but think we will win by 2 clear goals tomorrow..... and that might be the nlast predicion I'll make :greengrin

It's about time Hibs did start winning comfortably against this level of opposition.

Could be our lowest League crowd of the season, around 13,000.

I remember going to see Hibs play Stranraer in 1998 expecting a hammering after belting out the Proclaimers line 'I can understand why Stranraer lie so lowly' from Cap in Hand before it. It always brings a wry smile when I hear it now.

We've certainly been very laboured in our performances against Dumbarton this season, and a lot of the time the last few seasons. A couple of early goals today would be good.
