Driving home between Dundee and Perth this evening and saw the first team bus heading north...a cheeky wee night in a local hotel before the big game tomorrow night?

Good for them. They'll be able to go out on the pish with less risk of it being reported on here.

Bit strange for a game an hour and a bit up the road is it not?

Biggest game of the season so far. Fail to prepare, prepare to fail etc.

This just shows how important Lennon feels this game is. Giving the team the best preparation available, and if we win, then it will be considered money well spent.

I'd imagine we'll have booked somewhere to train...

Rangers do it all the time so why not a big club like Hibs.

If it was a lunchtime kick off then absolutely I'd expect us to be up there tonight.

For a night game, that isn't much of a journey, I didn't think we'd be there 24 hours beforehand.

A huge jagerbomb and ketamine sesh is allegedly on the cards.
Its only the second tier after all:cb

Shows the commitment from the board to support the manager.

Getting out of Edinburgh can be pain in the backside any time from a Friday lunchtime onwards.

Why risk preparation being anything less than perfect for a massive game?

The Hearts games and reaching the semis again will have boosted the coffers.

I don't think we need to worry about the current crop of players going out on the randan the night before the game with Lorraine Kelly, Bob Servant and Hen Broon.

That's what I thought. Surely better ways to spend the clubs money?

We won, seems like money well spent to me.

My rugby club played in Thurso recently. Travelled by bus on Friday stayed in Inverness Friday night. Total cost £1600. Even if it cost Hibs twice that the three points were invaluable and it was money well spent if it contributed even in a small way to the win. If it's good enough for Alloa rugby club it is certainly good enough for Hibs. Sadly Alloa lost though
