LAST SEASONS PRICES

The Scottish FA is pleased to announce a competitive ticket pricing policy for next month’s Unrivalled William Hill Scottish Cup semi-finals at Hampden Park.

After consultation with all potential participants, tickets for Dundee United’s tie against Hibernian or Inverness Caledonian Thistle on Saturday, 16th April and Rangers versus Celtic the following day start at just £18 for adults and £7 for concessions* in the East and West Stands.

Concession prices were introduced in the North Stand, as well as the East and West Stands, for the first time at last year’s William Hill Scottish Cup final and the Scottish FA is delighted to confirm that they will now be available throughout the stadium, including the South Stand, for both semi-finals.

Premium seating in the North and South Stands costs just £28 for adults and £10 for concessions.

The oldest cup trophy in world football is truly Unrivalled and so, too, is access for families and supporters of all ages.

* Concession tickets apply to under-16s, students and senior citizens.

The Semi Finals of the Cup have become as boring as the same stage of the Champions League.

It's the same 3 or 4 clubs every season; Celtc, The Rangers, Hibs & A.N.Other

Disgrace, do they actually want any of them to attend the game? What student with a shoe-string budget is going to pay £30?

Quite expensive for a lunchtime game that's free to view on TV.

They can pay £20 for a ticket in the East if money is tight

£20 is expensive for a semi final?

Come off it.

If Hibs are charging £22 for a game against Dumbarton in the Championship, £30 for a semi final is reasonable.

Of course all Scottish football could be a rip off to milk the fans for as much as they can.

Increasing the concession prices by more than they're increasing full price tickets is a bit cheeky.

if Admission was free i would still detest the GFA/SFA, but they need to find the money to pay the huge rates/rent whatever increase looming for our national stadium, build a new national stadium in the stirling area :agree:

No £20 isn't expensive but £30 for me plus £15 each for the kids is, won't be sitting behind the goals again with them.

Both semi finals will be priced the same I assume. If the other semi was say Killie v Dundee, the prices would be lower to encourage attendance.

The cup semi is a bonus and the money is another bonus on top. All the plastic Old Firm fans are paying top dollar in bigger numbers which means we will get a bigger share off it. Queen Ann wil be disappointed.

Funny how the faux outraged and those looking for an excuse not to attend always quote the dearest price. £20/£10 for the Scottish Cup semi is very reasonable. As has been pointed out, it's cheaper than we charge for a run of the mill Championship game against Dunbarton and the likes.

the 4 teams involved have to agree pricing, after some on the prices being charged for some Rantic matches, £30 is fine. £28 last year, £2 increase, means I can't afford bread for the week:greengrin

Basically its maximum pricing because they know they could sell 90,000 tickets for the old firm semi and their fans would probably pay £40 for a ticket .... in view of that they have to charge the same prices for our semi if they are going to milk the bigotfest cash cow.

£20 is decent for the east stand, though considering the facilities are no better in the north stand charging another £10 on top of that to sit there is as clear an admission as you will get from the SFA that the view from behind the goals at Hampden is rubbish.

The OF semi will sell out and the vast majority of the tickets sold will be adults I would imagine for obvious reasons .... in view of that if our semi can top 30,000 and we can make the final too it will be a bit of a cash bonanza for us.

I can see Rod Petrie just now sitting down with his laptop superimposing images of the new standing section in the FF / East corner with mega supporters bar as well :greengrin
