Can you not travel via Edinburgh and York?

Can you not travel via Edinburgh and York?

You can on the way back, but it more than doubles the time.

Could be two of us travelling, depending if my brother can get off work and presuming I can get a ticket for him.

Trains are pain again this season, last season it was damage to the bridge at Lockerbie and this season is the work on the lines between preston and Blackpool and satellite towns like Lytham where I am.

Up for a bus if anyone gets one together.

Anyone else watching the match on friday in a Fylde Coast boozer?

Looks like 2 hour bus Glasgow to Carlisle which is the issue.

I will be driving across from Yorkshire but up for a bus. Would rather not drive all way but if needs must.
