Just finished reading a most brilliant Hibs flavoured book. Hibs and The Pogues, Double A Side by Calum Bruce. From Benny Brazil Y Fronts to Latapy and John O' Neill smoking fags, to Barry Lavety struggling to speak. Really enjoyed it, a nice change from the "Hoolie" or "Stats" books, this just makes you laugh. Sure it will appeal to Hibbies both old and young. The Hibs legends are the fans, a nice touch. Obviously not all about Hibs , but the other stuff is hilarious.
Recommend contact with hibsandthepogues@gmail.com as opposed to Amazon when it comes to getting a copy. Got this from The Pogues website. Colour copies here, Amazon ones are black and white? Blow away the Paisley blues and get reading this. Loved it.

Back in their younger days I used to think Hibs' Willie Miller and Shane McGowan looked a lot alike.
