Was hearing today from an friend with close links to Morton is that Utd are on the verge of entering admin. Don't know how true it could be but this fella wouldn't bulldung me and after their trip to Tannadice last Saturday, this is the word within the club itself.

Are we going to have a thread every night about some other club going into admin?

There's already a thread about this particular one from a couple of weeks back.

A rumour is better than no news at all, IMO.
Thanks for posting, RH :aok:

Decent rumour. I was shown texts from a certain person that makes me thinks this one has legs.

I wonder what odds the bookies will give you against no Scottish Clubs going into administration. I'm sure they will be minuscule.

Struggle to have much time for Dundee Utds support.
They spend most of the game booing some victim or another rather than backing their side and patently feel the need to debate the merits of the SPFL terminology used rather than the crux of the message nailed to their own gates.

In saying all that I'd like their club to go up with us.

Indeed. Luckily we never look for scapegoats on here when things go bad...

On here? Not sure thats relevant. Games don't happen on here.

Wouldn't see any sense at all in admin for them. Would very likely rule them out of the play offs.

Ok, I'll rephrase. Thankfully we have no history of booing any players when things go bad...

I was thinking more about their desperation to round on opposition individuals rather than backing their own. Never mind, get your point.

Rebranding as the SPFL was one of many bad decisions the administrators of our game have made.

4 letter acronyms are rare for a reason.

HMFC would back that theory well.

Solely for letting Skacel away with his 5-1 crap and in doing so acting like a mickey mouse outfit I'd love it if they went under.

They are a mess. Shambles tbh that we are not completely out of sight of them.

This. Made themselves look a complete embarrassment.

the year ended 30/06/2016 is so close to end of season... seems a lame excuse to blame 1.55m due to relegation. (also I don't know when they receive the parachute payment?)

could be some legs on this after all, it's a lot of money.. and squad wise they are not exactly in a great position.

I see also Dundee talking again about moving to a new stadium at Camperdown. I wonder if Unt maybe thinking of ground sharing. I believe they recently had their ground valued.

As far as I believe, they don't receive a parachute payment, as it is only available to those who go down via the Playoffs.
