Guys, one or two asked if I could share the Grace I read out at the Hall of Fame Dinner last night.

Dear Lord ;
Thank you for oor Fitba' team here in Edinburgh's port
Who through the years we've grown to worship, cherish and support
From their poor and meek beginnings to help the working class
Their benevolence throughout the years has never been surpassed
And though they've had their ups and downs it surely must be said
That thanks to you they've demonstrated how football should be played
Keep an eye on our city rivals at the Castle of the Tyne
Coz I’ve no heard a peep from them since Wednesday, about half 9.
Thank you for the brilliant players we've witnessed o'er the years
The memory of the Famous Five will always shed the tears
Stanton, Schaedler, Cropley, the Tornadoes one and all
Collins, Best and Sauzee all artists with the ball
For our current crop of Scottish Cup Winners the finest in the land
And our fabulous supporters singing Sunshine on Leith from the stands…
This club will live forever; they'll never lay a wreath,
Thank you Lord for gifting us, the mighty Hibs of Leith!
